The other day I thought about when I started out as a sys admin, and in fact had a look over some of the scripts I was writing and tasks I was performing.
I have absolutely know idea how I did some of them, and I know for a fact that I wouldn't be able to reproduce some of the concepts or write some of the programs I did, now.
This is because the human brain is regressive and actually gets worse at doing its job. A sobering thought, and ironic given that in my case, it's probably alcohol that accelerated it.
So the Think Tank was born, which is where I leave some scrap notes about what I'm doing or what I need to do, in the event that six months from there, I will have completely forgotten how.
It's not really intended to explain much or be of interesting reading, however you are free to browse (the SMTP status code list seems to get a lot of hits).
